Before we look forward to the exciting plans we have for 2019 let’s take a moment to reflect of the fantastic achievements of 2018…

New Promise we made to you

We started the year with a re-launch of the Graham Promise which ensures that you are at the centre of everything as our customer. You talked about what you wanted and we listened to create a real promise that means something to you.

Refreshing ideas

In February we launched the College Refresh scheme that gave colleges the chance to enter our competition to win £10,000 to refresh their plumbing and heating classrooms.

#WinAVan competition winner…

…Collected his van in March and was thrilled to have won this huge prize as part of a national campaign.

The law changed in April

We made sure that every branch had the knowledge to help you understand the new Boiler Plus Legislation that came into effect from April and we also updated our Boilers Plus brochure to help too.

Climbed mountains and shaved for charity

Several colleagues from around Saint Gobain took to the hills (mountains) to take on the 3 peaks to raise money for our charity partner, Barnardo’s, and the branch manager at our Coventry branch went one step further and shaved off his much loved beard to raise even more!

We celebrated our showrooms

The annual Showroom Conference took place in July where we celebrate the successes of the individuals that work in the showrooms and we cement the relationships with our suppliers too.

Mike Week was celebrated

Mike Ormiston is one of the longest serving employees in our business and he completed his 50 years’ service which we celebrated with a week-long social media campaign called #MikeWeek.

We swapped pipes for paddles

In September we held a Dragon Boat Race at Draycote Water to raise money for our Charity partner, Barnardo’s and it was a huge success and everyone had great fun.

We were made in Chelsea

Well actually, we originated in Scotland but we did go to Chelsea in London to exhibit at PHEX with a whole suite to ourselves too.

We supported a twitter #tag campaign in November…

NoVANber is about asking the government what more can be done about van and van tool theft.

We hosted our annual Conference

This is where we get celebrate the Graham Family and suppliers and plan for 2019 TOGETHER.

All year round…

…We have been opening, relocating and refurbishing branches to give our customers the best possible experience every time they visit and this has involved opening 15 new Branch-In-Branch sites which are where we share a space with other Saint Gobain business such as Minster, Jewson or CTD.

And that’s a wrap on 2018 but we have lots more exciting things coming in 2019 so make sure you stay tuned…
